Here it is, the infamous bowery built at Clear Creek so that the Badger relatives would have a permanent place to hold the yearly ... or was that ever other year Badger shin dig.

Dad Rose hauled his new tent from CA to try it out. Ahhhh......, but this year grandma and grandpa Rose conned Buck, that's grandma Rose's younger brother, to loan them his home away from home. Who says there are no fineries in Clear Creek.

This is dad Rose's memories of his one trip to Clear Creek when he was a young boy. We passed a lot of this same memory on our way from Tremonton out to Clear Creek.

Here it is. What you have all been waiting for. This is what this part of the world is named for. Back in the day this was essential for survival when farming or working in this part of northern Utah.

By the way, it doubles as a cooler during the badger reunion.

Master Chef Paul checking out the grill prior to firing it up for the evening meal.

The Badger reunion brain trust. What more needs to be said. :-)

This is bingo night that you have all heard grandpa Rose talk about. Notice that many of the prized selected by the younger folks are hanging from the cross beams in the bowery. The bingo machine was having a little problem during this even. It had to be coerced into providing numbers several times.

This is the one room school that grandma Rose attended while she and her family lived in Clear Creek. I have other shots including some of the inside but lets just say the county doesn't stop by often to check out the livability of some of the buildings in Clear Creek much these days.

If you have been in grandpa Rose's office this might look familiar. This is the current day version of the small home he lived in while in Naf. No county visits for this place either. While grandpa Rose and I were making the rounds driving in the car grandpa point out that there was a point where he was riding in Utah and I was actually in Idaho. No we hadn't stopped to get out of the car either.

The building strategically located between the two trailors is the school grandpa Rose attended while living in Naf.

This is the Naf store on the main drag in Naf . No longer in use but evidently brings back good memories for the grandparents.

This is the Naf dance hall. Rumor has it grandma Rose cut many a rug in this place during her teenage days. Grandma specifically asked if I had stopped to take a picture so there must be a memory or two associated here too.
