Our Beautfiul Yard!

After having the gigantic tree removed from the yard, we were in desperate need of a yard makeover. Realizing we did not have the strength or energy to accomplish the task we called in some specialists to redesign a portion of our backyard. We wish we would have taken a picture of our yard before we took the tree out; nevertheless, the following pictures were taken after the tree was removed.

Cypress Landscaping and crew made the work seem so easy. However, as we watched the process we were very appreciative that it was not us doing the many hours of back breaking work.

The following pictures are of the finished project. We are extremely excited to have the watering for the entire yard on an automated timer!

We planted a garden of tomatoes, zucchini squash, summer squash, three varieties of winter squash, cucumbers, green beans, lettuce, and marigolds.

Where our garden used to be planted, we put in sod. The new lawn is bordered with rosebushes and other plants.

We replaced the huge tree with a crepe myrtle.

Now that our yard is finally finished, we are very much enjoying our beautiful backyard. The weather has been perfect and we have enjoyed dinners at our picnic table, which has also been refinished (that is a whole other story). Grandma and Grandpa are looking forward to having Hannah, Katie, Madison, and Parker come for a visit so we can all play in the nice soft grass!
