We had a delightful weekend in Monterey, CA to celebrate our 29 years of marriage. We ate a yummy dinner at the Chart House Restaurant on Cannery Row. We recommend you try the volcano dessert if you ever visit the Chart House. After dinner we went to the Embassy Suites hotel in Seaside (compliments of Hilton points).
Saturday morning we took a walk on the beach and then enjoyed the complimentary breakfast at the hotel. Then we rented a tandem bike and rode about 10 miles on the coast. It was a beautiful ride. The weather was fantastic and we had a great time peddling together.
After the bike ride we went the IMAX theater and watched "Sharks" in 3-D.
Although our trip was short we had a great time. We plan to rent bikes again in Monterey and bike ride the 17-mile drive.
