Vermont

Ben and Jerry's need I say more- Yum Yum!

So Thursday Shawn came home from school and wanted to go somewhere for the weekend, so we picked Vermont. It takes about 4 hours to get there with no traffic. We stopped at the visitor's center when you first get into Vermont and the man at the desk gave us a STACK of things to see. More than one person can see in one weekend. So we picked a few places to see. We stayed in a place called Queechee. Right by where we stayed is a place they call the Vermont Grand Canyon. It was very pretty. Sorry no pictures of that. We only looked at it in passing.

We did go to a glass blowing place. It was cool to see how they make glasses. We could have watched for a very long time, but it got really warm. They heat the sand up to 2400 degrees Farenheit.

Then we went to the birthplace of Jospeh Smith. It was fun to be where he grew up and to hear the stories.

fter that we went to Ben and Jerry's. We took a factory tour and the last part of the tour was ice cream tasting. That was the best part!

Then we went to an apple cider plant and to dinner. They use real vermont sour cream, butter, and cheese.

That was our trip in a nutshell.
