may happenings

A week from completion!

We went to Charleston for Shawn's VA appt. and I took the kids to the beach.

Parker went "swimming"

Emmie explored the water and...

the sand.

Sand must taste pretty good-she probably ate a cup while we were there, but her hand kept going back to her mouth.

Grandpa's European Trip

While on my business trip to Europe I had a free morning on Friday so I went to downtown London and rode the London Eye. The Eye is a 450-foot ferris wheel on the South Bank of the London Thames also known as the Millennium Wheel. It gives a fabulous bird's eye view of London.

Big Ben viewed from the Eye.

A self portrait from the Eye.

The Parlament Building in London from the top of the Eye. Notice the reflections because the picture was taken from within the passenger capsule.

The London Eye from across the River Thames.

The side streets of Brussels. Chocolate shops. Yum Yum!!

All the happenings

Our sweet Valentine!!

Future home of 16 Carina Lane and the site of our new house-

Cool men doing all sorts of stunts- but see that little contraption in the boys hand- we almost had a melt down because we wouldn't spend 25 dollars on a toy he would play with for 3 days.

Elephants- Parker favorite part

Body benders

The circus

I wonder what he wished for?

Birthday boy

For mom- A purse I made. I was helping critique a pattern.

7 months old!

A day of warm weather=playtime outdoors

Superman and Batman cape. I think every little boy would want one of these. He's ready to take on the world.

Thanks for the superman lunchbox Grandma and Grandpa! It holds all sorts of things.

The little bit of snow we did have. Parker was in HEAVEN! I kept asking if he wanted to come inside and he would always tell me no.

Meeting Santa

Santa arrived in town today at our local outdoor mall. Parker was so excited to go visit Santa, but he wouldn't even sit on his lap, not even for a lollipop. The only way we were going to get a picture was as a family.

See brother, Santa's not so bad....
Or maybe he is a little scary. Just don't look at him and everything will be all right.

Elder Rose is Home!

We are thrilled to have Jeffrey safely home from Argentina. We had a great day picking Jeff up at the airport and going to visit a member of the stake presidency for his release and enjoying dinner at home. We are looking forward to many enjoyable days together.

What would you do with the Biggest Pumpkin?

According to Katie:

With the biggest pumpkin we could find at Wal-Mart this week I made pumpkin soup, pumpkin cake squares and pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie mix for the freezer--All of which were very tasty. Wish we could have shared some with all of you!
