Baby in a basket

Parker fit into the little yellow outfit when he was newborn, but not anymore.

He fits perfectly into the basket. There is a little smile under his hands too.

more of Hannah

Here is Hannah on the tractor
Hannah with Parker Anderson (our friend's son -Bekah (sister of my friend Katherine) and Ammon Anderson
Hannah with her friend Seth (Yes he is a boy) Hannah tries to get every kid who comes over to dress up. It doesn't matter how old, young, or what gender. We don't really have any dress ups for boys. Seth calls Hannah "Nanna"

Katie also likes to throw fits. I'm not sure why she was throwing a fit this time, but she sits down on the ground and then lies down. She has progressively gotten smarter about not throwing her head into the ground as hard. She usually kicks and screams and if you don't pay too much attention, she gets over it pretty quick.

outside fun

Katie has just as much fun as Hannah being outside. She alternates between pushing the wagon, climbing in and out of our Cozy Coupe Orange Car and walking all over.
Here is Hannah's tractor and Mom's upgrade. The tractor can go in reverse when you peddle it (unlike the bike). Mom's car can fit a lot more groceries in the back.

Pink Rider

Watch me ride Sooo Fast! Pink Bike, Pink Helmet and a Striped Dress that she has worn for the past 4 days. Oh well, I'm not complaining. This is the least amount of laundry I'm going to have to do for a week in a long time. Normally Hannah wears an average of 5 outfits, all of which she claims are dirty.

Parkers anniversary message

This was Parkers anniversary message for grandma and grandpa. The paper is almost as big as him. I was lucky to get a picture of him smiling and the paper in his lap still. He was having fun moving his arms and legs and making the paper fly. He is getting so big.

tv watching baby

Shawn thought Parker holding channel changers was cute. It's a good thing he doesn't like them yet. This is also the first time Parker wore his overalls. They are so cute on him

Grandmas House

Hannah loves to hold Parker, but she doesn't like to smile for the camera. When I said say cheese and smile she would ask, katie or me. She is so funny. She also want to try and feed Parker real people food. She wanted to give him mac and cheese the other day.
Parker is starting to smile more and more.

sleepy time

Mom and Parker sleeping- how sweet
We hated to get him up, but we needed to go to the open house at the church. He was so sweet.

Sleeping babys are so fun.
We think Parker is so cute when he sleeps. We also think he is cute when he is awake. We are excited to see everyone in California this weekend. We are ready for the warm weather!!

He would move all around and make them rattle and every once in a while his mouth found them..mmm! He is so excited to come play with everyone next weekend.

Ready for some fun in the sun

We are anxiously awaiting our arrival in California. Our favorite parts will be Grandpa and Grandpa, Aunt Kristen, Uncle Jeff, baby Parker, grandma's wonderful food, fun and spoiling with grandparents and last but not least the Sun.

Here is what everyone (excluding Shawn, Mike and Diane-sorry you'll just have to enjoy the pictures. I'm sure we'll take tons in CA) has to look forward to in about a week and a half.

Hannah and Katie are really enjoying each other. Katie loves to play peek-a-boo and she'll push just about anything around the house-her car, chairs, boxes, and laundry baskets. She took 5 steps once a couple weeks ago, but I guess it wasn't that cool because since then she is only up for about 2 steps at a time. Crawling must be easier, faster and less scary. I was hoping she would be walking by the time we came to CA so that we could go to the park and she wouldn't end up quite as filthy. Oh well maybe she'll start to walk there!

Mom came to visit

We had a ton of fun when mom came to visit. We loved having her here. I am excited to be able to bring Parker to California to visit. We are looking foward to warmer weather than we are having here. The first picture is Parker giving himself a hug. Isn't he adorable!

Look how cute

Parker in the nursery before we came home. His clothes are way to big for him.

Parker loves his bouncer.

Somehow Parker rolled himself onto his belly, look how sweet he is.

this morning we had to go to the doctor for a weight check. we thought we would put his coat on to keep him warm, but his arms stayed up and the set belt would fit so we took the coat off and just covered him with the bundle me. what a great invention.

Big yawns. This is soon after he was born.

We are having a ton of fun with Parker. We love watching him and seeing what new things he will do. So far he has peed on me while he was eating. He makes cute little noises when he is hungry. Today at the doctors office he peed on the table while his diaper was off. It wasn't so cute being up until 1:30 am with him would not be as much fun. But he slept the rest of the night afterwards.

4 days and counting

YEAH!!! tomorrow is my last day of work and I can't wait. But even more so I can't wait for Parker to come. To bad he didn't come when we want him to come. But we will wait patiently for him to come. Hopefully he will come soon. Only 4 days left until Parker is due.

January 2007

Hannah dresses up at least once a day. Here is one of her dress-up outfits. She has a purple leotard on under a black leotard with a bright pink skirt/tootoo, beads and a hat. Don't forget the wallet and the pen!

Hannah was so excited for the snow! It was the first of the season.

And of course, we don't want to leave Katie out!

I am getting HUGE

Look at the GIANT BELLY! I have to wear Shawn's medium tshirts now. He made me change into this black one for the picture because it really brings out the Bellly!

Our new improvements to our living room. A very nice picture from IKEA. Also new blue pillows from IKEA. We are slowly moving toward out Americana living room theme.
We will keep everyone posted on how we are doing. We hope to have a baby in the pretty near future here and we are SOOO excited to have him here. It has been fun up until now, but we are ready for him to come.

Dad's first picture with his new camera!
We went for a hike in Uvas Park and saw three waterfalls. We have only included one of the waterfalls because it was the prettiest. We plan to go back to the park again. After a nice rainstorm the falls are supposed to be much nicer.

Snow and baby shower

This is a jacket we got at a baby shower. Shawn was having fun zipping the inside and the outside. It is a two layer coat.
Shawn enjoyed pretending like parker was in this outfit and holding it like a real baby.
This is what Shawn calls the ewok outfit. He is so excited to put Parker in this outfit. It is extremely soft and the top jacket has ears and the feet have little paws on them.

Look we have snow. It snowed for the first time today in the middle of my doing laundry. So I thought I would take a couple of pictures. The falling snow didn't show up too well on the camera, but the stair did.

Yesterday while at work they threw a suprise baby shower for me. It was such a suprise and lots of fun. Who stayed with the pateints while we were all having fun? Who knows, but no one died or got hurt while we were gone. We got a lot of stuff. I was actually somewhat suprised. When Shawn got home from work we looked through all of the stuff and Shawn picked out his favorite outfits. I think the "ewok" outfit was his favorite. Now we are playing what Shawn calls the waiting game. He loves to ask if I am in labor everytime I call. His coworkers always listen intensly when I call. I think they are as excited as we are to have Parker. You would think they are having one of their own.

Some progress

YEAH! We get closer and closer to Parker every day. Today at my appointment I was 50 percent effaced and almost 1 centimeter dilated and the baby's head is low. So it's not much progress, but it is getting there. We will have to wait and see what he says next week.

Your father finally purchased his new camera. He is very excited. He ordered a Nikon D200 just after Christmas and it arrived last night. He is just like a child with a new toy. I told Jeff before the camera came that we needed to take a little trip to Point Lobos or somewhere fun so Dad could try out his new camera. Jeff replied, " I thinking more of Cancun."

35 days and counting

Only 35 days left until Parker is born. We appreciate all the things that we have gotten for him so far and we get more and more excited every day to have him come into our home. We only have few more things to do to get things ready for him such as putting up the cradle and putting the car seats in the cars. We look forward to the next couple of weeks. But I have a whole list of things to do around the house before he actually comes. He is not allowed to come until the house is all organized and put in order. The next appointment I have is the 9th of January and we will see what the doctor has to say that day.

We had a lot of fun while Kim and Peter where here. We went to the Bronx Zoo, looked at all the BIGGGG houses around us, went to Stew Leaonards, walked around the shops by us, and played a lot of games. It was fun to have them here but we were sad to see them leave, that means we have to go back to work. It was nice to have some experience with baby proofing and cleaning the floors before Parker comes.

Here is one of our family pictures taken while we were in Denver.
